Cardinal O’Hara Receives Grant from Diocese

The Foundation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Buffalo recently awarded Cardinal O’Hara High School a grant in the amount of $3,000 from the 2009 RFP for Excellence in Catholic Education and Lifelong Faith Formation. 

 
Diocese provides more than half million dollars in tuition assistance

The Foundation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Buffalo is currently accepting applications for the Catholic Elementary School Tuition Assistance Program (CTAP) for 2009-2010 school year.  During the 2008-2009 academic year, CTAP provided $526,700 in needs-based tuition assistance to 1,443 students.  At a time when costs are increasing, many families still want to provide an excellent Catholic school education for their children.  CTAP provides a means to do so.

Bishop to honor the late Paul Koessler with medal

 The late Paul Koessler will receive the Bishops' Medal posthumously at this month's "Making a Difference - Celebrate Catholic Education" dinner on Jan. 29 at the Adam's Mark Hotel.  Koessler passed away last July at the age of 71
