2008 RFP for Catholic Education Funding
The Foundation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Buffalo is pleased to announce its 2008 Request for Proposals (RFP) for Catholic Education. Established in 1997 and governed by a Board of Trustees, the Foundation's mission is to acquire, administer, and distribute funds to benefit the educational, religious and charitable needs of the Diocese of Buffalo.
Each year, the Foundaion makes grants to support catholic education initiatives. The 2008 RFP for Catholic Education is open to all parish-based faith formation programs of the Diocese of Buffalo.
In light of the major commitments being made on behalf of Catholic schools through the Diocesan Education Funding Plan, the Foundation's investement in the Catholic School Development Program and the Catholic High Schools Advancement Program initiative, elementary and high schools will not be eligible for funding through this RFP.
Funding for this RFP is made possible through the Foundation's Catholic Education Endowment Fund, its annual Celebrate Catholic Education Dinner, and the Bishop's Council of the Laity Philanthropic Fund. This year's RFP funding level is anticipated to be $90,000.
